Dr. Tyrrell (Ty) Ashcroft is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, in Toronto. She received her undergraduate education in Kinesiology and Science at the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with distinction. She has since focused her continuing education on sports specific therapies. Dr. Ty, as patients refer to her, has completed McMaster’s Medical Acupuncture program and the Acupuncture for Sports Injuries specialty. She is an avid golfer and is TPI certified (Titelist Professional Instructor). She has attained full body Master’s status in ART, and has been a certified Active Release Techniques provider helping hundreds of runners and triathletes. She has completed postgraduate placements in advanced diagnostic imaging at Humber River Hospital, and works closely with MDs, PTs, RMTs, orthopedic surgeons and sport physicians. Darren graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Physical Therapy and from Brock University with a Bachelor of Physical Education Hons. Darren believes in imparting knowledge to his patients, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and optimization of movement. He is passionate about providing a tailored approach to optimize results and help his patients achieve their goals. Roxana is a Registered Social Worker with a BSW and MSW from Ryerson University, currently working on her PhD in Social Work at York University. She is a registered member of the OASW and the OCSWSSW. Roxana’s social work career spans from community engagement to child protection to currently providing private therapy services to individuals and couples. In addition, she is a part time professor at Sheridan college and mother of three brilliant, vibrant children.

Roxana takes a creative, innovative, holistic/hybrid approach to therapy. Trauma-informed, she blends traditional methods (Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Attachment, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing) with mindfulness, somatic therapy, philosophy and social justice. Dr. Thien Dang-Tan trained at the U.S. President’s Hospital and the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in Bethesda, MD. NNMC residency is one of its kind and a premier opportunity for applying chiropractic clinical knowledge in an integrative patient care setting. Dr. Dang-Tan completed continuing education at Harvard Medical School in Integrative and Complementary Medicine. Shamit obtained his Master of Physical Therapy from Western University. His most memorable clinical experience was at Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Centre, where he developed a strong interest in working with athletes and treating various knee and shoulder pathologies. During his time at Western, Shamit also worked as a physiotherapy extern at University Hospital, which primarily involved assisting patients with their mobility, strength, and ambulation after their knee or hip replacements.

Prior to physiotherapy school, Shamit earned a double major in Human Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto. During this time, a multitude of experiences have helped shape him as a clinician, most notably working as a personal trainer. Shamit has a passion for exercise and is a strong advocate for an active and healthy lifestyle. His treatment approach involves a combination of a structured exercise program, manual therapy, and most importantly, patient education. Shamit believes fostering a supportive and meaningful relationship with his patients in their rehabilitation journey will help create more favourable outcomes. Kevin completed his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in Kingston. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University.

Kevin has a specific interest in rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries. He also has extensive training and experience working alongside physicians and surgeons. When he is not at Omega you can find him working at St. Michael’s Hospital and Michael Garron Hospital.

Growing up, Kevin played many sports such as basketball and ultimate frisbee, and now enjoys weight training and running in his free time. Rob is a former Division 1 lacrosse player from Siena College and he also played Jr. A for the Toronto Beaches Lacrosse Club. These days he gets his exercise through weight training and in the summer you can find him paddle boarding on Lake Ontario.

He is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Personal Training Specialist (CPT). Rob is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. He blends his passions of personal training and massage therapy to provide the best experience possible!

He was introduced to chiropractic after injuring his back while competing in high school volleyball. My passion for helping people led me to my current career. My goal is to make the most positive impact that I can with the people I work with, helping them achieve their desired goals whilst facilitating them throughout the process. Having completed my Masters in Sports Rehabilitation, I have gained knowledge and experience in musculoskeletal injury prevention and injury rehabilitation across a number of sports and physical activities. This has allowed me to work with a number of sports teams, athletes and the general population. I am also a Certified Special Population Specialist, which has led me to work with special populations across a number of health related conditions. I value utilizing preventative strategies to not only improve overall performance and overall wellbeing but also reduce the risk factors across a number of health related conditions. I get great satisfaction in helping people become more physically independent and help boost their self-esteem. Whilst working with people with health related conditions; I have witnessed the benefits of physical activity has on both physical health and psychological wellbeing. Jason graduated from Western University with a Master of Physical Therapy. Prior to this, he also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Jason is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal goals and getting back to performing activities that they love. He utilizes a patient-centered approach that focuses on active listening, collaborating, and empowering the patients to be the driver in their care. Using an evidence-based approach, his treatment consists of patient education, manual therapy, and functional exercises that are tailored to the patient needs and goals.

During his time at the University of Waterloo, Jason completed his strength and conditioning internship where he implemented exercise programs for student-athletes from multiple varsity teams including football, basketball, hockey, and soccer. Claire has a strong kinesiology background focused in exercise science with practical experience handling injuries and creating rehabilitation programs in a sports setting. Claire is an Olympian and has competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the Canadian Women’s Water Polo team. She has been a member of the Canadian water polo national team for eight years, medaling silver in the 2015 and 2019 Pan-American Games.
